The Community and Services Committee approved a contract with Replay Systems Inc. to replace the county's 911 mission‑critical recording and replay system.
"This is a request from the sheriff's office that is essentially mission critical recording and replay and quality assurance of the 911 activity," Commissioner Scott Johnson said, noting the one-time cost of $190,308.31 was budgeted for the current year. He added the county will incur an annual recurring cost of $22,702.12 beginning in year two through year five.
Staff told the committee the vendor holds a state contract for this service and the proposed term would begin 08/04/2026 and extend through 08/04/2031. A committee member moved the item to consent and it was approved without further amendment.
No public comment was offered during the meeting. The item will proceed to contract execution per staff recommendation.
