Commission approves cash summary, invoice register and disbursements; members flag short-term cash concerns

A motion to approve the open invoice register in the amount of $121,021.14 passed by voice vote after a second.
During discussion, one commissioner raised questions about expenditures assigned to Fund 10 and flagged potential short-term cash-flow pressure. "It looks like we'll add another 57...65... Somewhere around another 66,000 to that," the commissioner said, citing payroll, county survey work, dues and health insurance as drivers of the additional obligations. Commissioners said they understood banking accounts were in reasonable shape but that staff were working on cash-flow actions to reconcile projected gaps. The motions to acknowledge and approve the financial registers were carried by voice vote; the meeting recorded at least two Aye votes and, in an earlier minutes approval, one abstention on record for a different item.
