Commission waives $300 zone-change application fee for Manila
Summary
Daggett County commissioners voted to waive a $300 application fee for a Manila zone-change filing, noting the waiver does not affect nor imply approval of the underlying rezoning; the public hearing was rescheduled to March 19 due to a scheduling conflict.

Daggett County commissioners voted to waive the $300 application fee required for the Town of Manila to file a requested zone-change application.
Committee member (S2) moved to waive the fee to allow the town to proceed with the application; the chair (S1) clarified that waiving the application fee does not imply a favorable decision on the substantive zone change. The commission also noted the public hearing on the requested zone change had been moved to March 19 because of a caucus conflict.
The motion passed by voice vote. Commissioners said the waiver was offered in recognition of cooperation the town provided on other county initiatives — including earlier fee waivers related to the clinic project — and stressed that the formal public hearing and substantive planning and zoning review will proceed as scheduled.
