The Lowndes County Board of Supervisors on July 6 accepted an easement from the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks to construct a Volunteer Fire Department site. Board Attorney Tim Hudson presented the easement and Supervisor Jeff Smith moved to accept it; Supervisor Matt Furnari seconded and the motion carried 5-0.
The board’s acceptance authorizes the county to proceed with the easement terms as recorded in the official minutes (Exhibit J). No conditions or objections were recorded in the minutes.
