Board approves utility permits for Thornton Drive sewer repair and Gallop Ridge water service
Summary
Lowndes County approved permits for Great River Utilities/Knight Environmental Services to repair a sewer line on Thornton Drive and for Caledonia Water & Sewer Department to install a 3/4" water service on Gallop Ridge Road.
County Engineer Zach Foster presented two utility-permit requests at the June 15 meeting. Supervisor Jeff Smith moved to spread on the minutes the permit for Great River Utilities/Knight Environmental Services to perform a sewer repair along or across Thornton Drive; Supervisor Matt Furnari seconded and the motion passed 4-0.
Foster also presented a permit request from the Caledonia Water & Sewer Department for a 3/4" water-service line along or across Gallop Ridge Road. Supervisor Furnari moved to spread the permit on the minutes and Supervisor Smith seconded; the board approved the permit 4-0.
