Supervisors approve 10-year tax-exemptions, note 2026 audit changes

Tax Assessor Greg Andrews presented a final 10-year exemption resolution for Burford Electric and a separate 10-year exemption final resolution for Quality Beverage. Supervisor Leroy Brooks moved to spread the Burford Electric resolution on the minutes and Supervisor Jeff Smith seconded; the board approved 4-0. A motion to spread the Quality Beverage exemption followed and was approved 4-0.
Andrews also presented 2026 real and personal property audit changes. Supervisor Jeff Smith moved to spread the audit changes on the minutes; Supervisor Matt Furnari seconded and the motion passed 4-0. The items were recorded as exhibits in the minutes.
