Lowndes County supervisors adopt amended agenda and approve minutes, claims docket

The Lowndes County Board of Supervisors convened June 15, 2026, and a motion by Supervisor Leroy Brooks to adopt the amended agenda carried 4-0 after a second from Supervisor Jeff Smith. The board then approved the June 1, 2026 minutes following a motion from Brooks and a second from Supervisor Matt Furnari.
County Chief Financial Officer Lloyd Price presented the County Claims Docket for the period ending June 15, 2026. Supervisor Brooks moved to approve the docket and Supervisor Smith seconded; the board approved the claims docket 4-0. The meeting recessed later until a scheduled joint meeting with the City of Columbus on June 19, 2026.
