Council directed staff to proceed with Jones & DeMille to design and prepare contracts for a booster pump repair and upgrade so the project can move toward construction. A motion to engage Jones and DeMille for design work passed on a roll-call vote.
Later in the meeting staff reported the city had received a $158,000 grant for the booster station. As Council member Raileen Maxfield told the council, “So we did receive the $158,000 as a complete grant,” which the council will use toward the booster station project; members discussed using the award and coordinating design work to match grant requirements and reporting.
