Commission approves statutorily required Nuclear Energy Generation Feasibility Study and directs delivery

The Oklahoma Corporation Commission voted March 5 to adopt the final Nuclear Energy Generation Feasibility Study required under 17 O.S. § 803. Mark Argenbright, director of the Commission’s Public Utility Division, presented the study’s procedural history and status before the commission.
Commissioner Brian Bingman moved to approve the study and the motion passed unanimously. The Commission also directed Public Utility Division staff to prepare three paper copies of the final version for delivery: one to the Office of the Governor, one to the Office of the Speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, and one to the Office of the President Pro Tempore of the Oklahoma Senate. The study adoption and delivery requirement implement the statute’s reporting obligations.
