A staff member reported that Department of Public Works crews responded to a high-wind event on the evening of July 3 and worked through July 5 to address fallen trees, hanging limbs and roadway obstructions.
"DPW personnel were called on Friday evening, July 3rd, and continued operations through Sunday, July 5 to address storm related hazards, restored roadway access, and performed debris removal and clean up activities," the staff member said. The presenter opened the report by thanking DPW for its response and work.
The report said crews removed debris and restored travel lanes across multiple neighborhoods; the speaker later closed the item by telling the room, "Again, I just want to say a job well done, guys. Thank you." Staff provided a public contact number for follow-up and urged residents to use the township website's report-of-concern feature.
The DPW update concluded with the speaker turning the floor over to the deputy mayor for the police report.
