The board ratified previously paid claims totaling $1,045,834.79 and approved claims payable on 07/31/2026 totaling $599,219.99 after finance staff read funding breakdowns. Finance also asked the board to ratify a pension payroll amounting to $175,011.56; the board approved that item as well.
On contracts, the board approved a professional services agreement with Maya Bailey to perform bank reconciliation analysis (not to exceed $12,000, Aug. 3–Dec. 31, 2026). Legal counsel presented a three-year LexisNexis contract to replace Westlaw and said the change will save the city roughly $44,000 over three years; the board approved the LexisNexis contract by roll call.
