Sweetwater County to publish annual receipts and expenditures; clerk says filings complete

Sweetwater County Clerk Lane told the Board of County Commissioners that the county's annual receipts and expenditures are complete and ready for publication under Statute 18.3515.
Clerk Lane said the Department of Audit confirmed Sweetwater County was completed as of September 20 and that the county has until the 30th to publish. "Statute 18.3515 says that we will publish in the newspaper the receipts and expenditures," Lane said, and asked the chair to sign the publication authorization so the county could meet the statutory requirement.
Commissioner Toman moved to advertise the annual financial statements and allow the chairman to sign; Commissioner Jones seconded the motion and the board approved it unanimously.
The clerk will proceed with the advertising and submission of the published abstract as required by statute.
