Council appoints Jess Wimmer to CRA board; accepts Planning Commission resignation

The Alliance City Council approved a board appointment and accepted a resignation during its Dec. 16 meeting.
On a motion by Councilman Hitchcock, seconded by Vice Mayor Mashburn, the council approved the application of Jess Wimmer to serve on the Community Redevelopment Authority Board with a term ending Dec. 31, 2030. The motion passed on a unanimous roll-call vote.
The council then accepted the resignation of Clint Robinson from the Planning Commission on a motion by Councilman Turman, seconded by Councilman Yates. That motion also passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 7:12 p.m.
