The court considered RFQ 2608 for architectural services to design a county animal shelter and approved the recommended minimum qualifications, scope of services and evaluation criteria.
Stephanie presented the package and the evaluation criteria, noting the weights will produce a quantifiable ranking. She said the criteria are similar to those used to select the jail architect. The court approved a team of evaluators that staff identified: Matthew Poston (county attorney), Catherine McCarty, Billy Knox, Sheriff Bobby Raider and Nathan Green; Commissioner Korbowski was added as a court liaison.
The court carried the motion with no further discussion. Staff said the evaluators will apply the criteria to compare vendors and provide recommendations to the court in a later meeting.
