Karl Behr, a Select Board member and chair of the Village Traffic Safety Committee update, reported the committee met with an engineer from HEB and heard an LRPC presentation. The committee is recommending a two‑day charrette facilitated by Plan New Hampshire to develop village traffic solutions; Behr said the effort would be pursued through grant funding and is not expected to impose a direct cost on taxpayers.
The committee’s next step is to seek grant funding and coordinate a charrette schedule; the Select Board did not authorize spending at the June 30 meeting but expressed support for pursuing grant opportunities and community charrette planning.
