Council approves payroll, claims and multiple routine contracts in consent calendar

The Alliance City Council approved the Dec. 2 consent calendar, which included approval of payroll dated Nov. 14, 2025 totaling $423,583.48 and claims across multiple funds totaling $941,880.96. The consent calendar also approved minutes of the Nov. 18 meeting and routine contracts and leases listed in the packet.
The consent calendar included Resolution 25-166 — a contract with Heather Hauptman d/b/a All Seasons Landscape Maintenance and Design for planting-bed maintenance (March 1–Oct. 31, 2026, with three optional one-year renewals) — and Resolution 25-167 approving a lease agreement with Masek Golf Car Company for 35 golf cars to be used at Sky View Golf Course. Interim City Managers Shoemaker and Brown and City Treasurer Baker reviewed the expenditures and stated they were within budgeted appropriations to date. The motion to approve the consent calendar was made by Councilman Hitchcock, seconded by Councilman Turman, and passed 4–0 on roll call.
