Alyssa DeFilippo honored by county after winning Miss Oregon 2026

DeFilippo, who the Chair described as a local nutrition coach and children’s book author, thanked the community and said she would represent Klamath Falls at the Miss America competition. In her remarks she noted persistence: "It took me 5 tries" and added "I'm excited." The board presented a Clackamas County commemorative T-shirt as a token of appreciation.
The recognition was ceremonial and required no board action or county expenditure beyond the presentation item noted in the meeting record.
