Board approves 25¢ average student-lunch price increase to shore up cafeteria fund

Finance staff told the board the cafeteria fund needed around $80,000 over the last six months to shore up balances and that the district will help families access free and reduced-price meal applications where eligible. A board member moved to approve the increase and the motion passed by voice vote; the transcript records the item as approved.
