LCB will present recommendations on five petitions calling for traceability, CCRS clarifications and independent review

Jeff told the caucus that the Director's Office will present responses and recommendations at the next board meeting for five rulemaking petitions received between April 29 and May 20 from Amy Deluge of Greenseed (a licensed cannabis retailer in Moses Lake) and representatives of Eagle Tree Farms.
Jeff said the petitions request a range of actions: (1) requiring independent third-party review of agency interactions with licensees in specified situations; (2) issuing a formal declaratory statement and disclosure requirements about limits of the Cannabis Central Reporting System (CCRS); (3) emergency rulemaking to align CCRS with federal cannabis compliance and traceability expectations; (4) emergency and permanent rules establishing enforceable operational verification standards for traceability and supply-chain reporting; and (5) emergency rulemaking on cannabis diversion and seed-to-sale accountability to protect public health and lawful market integrity.
Jeff said the Director's Office will provide more detailed analysis and recommendations to the board at the formal meeting and invited questions at that time.
