LCB rules team outlines 14 open projects, CR101 filed to allow agricultural cannabis cooperatives

He said the informal comment period for that initiative runs through July 3 and that stakeholder engagement will be announced. Kevin also previewed the timeline for a CR103 package to adopt final rules on cannabis license fees following the June 23 comment period, and said the rules team is monitoring separate CR102/CR101 filings from the Department of Health and Department of Agriculture that could affect cannabis-lab rulemaking. He described an economist-led cost-benefit analysis on retail alcohol product placement that is due to conclude by the end of the month.
Kevin said the contract-kitchen rules implementing Engrossed House Bill 1602 will take effect on Saturday, June 6, and that the agency will present a recommendation on petitions from a Moses Lake retailer and Eagle Tree Farms at next month's board meeting.
