During public comments, Charles Comstock of 199 Essex Road told Council he has been patient for six months and said infrastructure deterioration began nine years ago. He asked when his front yard would be repaired and questioned the delay impacting several neighbors.
Mayor Bob Jarvis replied that the repair project has been quoted at a cost of '$39,000.00 to $44,000.00' and explained that because of the amount, funding will likely need to come from 2026 budget appropriations and that recent weather has complicated scheduling. The minutes show continuing discussion about notification and removal of flags and cones from Comstock’s yard, but no resolution or timetable was recorded.
