MWR previews fall sports, community events and changes to social media communications

Kevin Bridal and Nick Knight, representing CYS and MWR marketing, outlined programs and a fall events calendar for Fort Knox families and community members. Bridal noted youth registrations are open through Aug. 14 for many programs and said tackle football registration is open until Aug. 1; he also asked for volunteer coaches to support youth sports.
Nick Knight highlighted community events — including a dog‑day tournament Aug. 8, a family 'hair dinner' on Aug. 28, a tribute run Sept. 11 and Oktoberfest in the fall — and warned that changes to MWR and ACS social‑media platforms will shift much of the official event information to knots.armymwr.com and the My Army Post app.
