Police report: Lexington Subway armed robbery suspect arrested; old cruiser sold for $3,300

Chief Troy Weaver told the council that an armed robbery occurred at the Subway in Lexington; the department arrested a suspect with assistance from several Ohio counties and reported that no one was hurt. Mayor Bob Jarvis publicly commended the officers for their work on the investigation and apprehension.
Chief Weaver additionally reported the department sold an old cruiser on GovDeals for $3,300 to a buyer in Tennessee; the buyer will pick up the vehicle Tuesday. Those two items comprised the bulk of the police report delivered at the January 5 meeting.
