Ireland Army Health Clinic adds walk‑in Ready Care, reduces some pharmacy hours

Lieutenant Colonel Cole Cody McDonald, chief of staff for Ireland Army Health Clinic, described a newly introduced Ireland Ready Care walk‑in service for acute needs and said routine appointments remain available through primary care or the MHGenesis portal. "Our new Ireland Ready Care initiative has been incredibly well received by our beneficiaries," he said, and explained the clinic's aim to speed access to acute care.
McDonald said pharmacy hours were reduced because of staffing constraints: both clinic pharmacies will remain open in the morning but will now close at 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and at 1 p.m. on the first and third Thursdays for staff training. He urged patients to use QAnywhere and MHGenesis to activate prescriptions ahead of arrival and said the garrison is working to install a secure locker (Scripps Center) that will allow 24/7 medication pickup when fully mission capable.
