Sequoyah County approves transfers, claims, appointments and courthouse vending contract

The Sequoyah County Board of County Commissioners approved several fiscal and administrative items during the June 8 meeting. The minutes record approval of a transfer from Election Board M&O to Election Board Travel for $482.86, a transfer from CJST2 Capital Outlay to CJST2 Salary for $50,000.00, an electronic funds transfer for a Bank of America P-Card payment of $429.37, and the approval of blanket purchase orders and claims across multiple funds. The minutes include an excerpted list of payments to vendors such as BWA Architects ($845.43), Dana Safety Supply ($8,517.62 for K9), and numerous highway and lease payments.
Under new business the board appointed Kelly Martin as Requisitioning Officer and Julia McGhee as Receiving Officer for the Sequoyah County Health Department, and approved Oklahoma Rehabilitation Services to provide vending services at the Sequoyah County Courthouse; motions were made by Member Jim Rogers and seconded by Vice-Chairman Ray Watts with recorded aye votes. The meeting adjourned following approval of claims and motions to adjourn.
