Natalie O'Neil, a resident of four years, raised an old-business concern about Lovely Farm, saying she had seen a town official approach community members during programming and that the interaction made visitors feel unwelcome. "I've been there for the last 2 weeks on a Thursday where I've seen someone approach someone in the capacity of an official from the town during a time that wasn't warranted," she said.
O'Neil asked the board to avoid taking up community members' personal time and suggested that official business be scheduled or handled through appropriate channels so programming at community spaces does not discourage participation. Chair Nancy Pashica replied that residents may ask to be put on the agenda to receive longer time and that the board tries not to ignore anyone.
