Board completes work session; staff to deliver consolidated draft ahead of Oct. 17 hearing

Staff were asked to consolidate the agreed notes and competing wording into a redline draft for the board to review prior to the next meeting; members said they preferred Word documents and the ability to get copies in advance for substantive review.
"So the takeaways are our next meeting is 10/17... staff will get us a 1st version rough draft of everything we just talked about," Chair Ryan said, summing up the timeline and next steps. Board members asked to receive drafts with enough lead time so they can prepare suggested alternative language before the next work session; the board adjourned shortly after 8:30 p.m.
