Commission approves assisted-living SUD with one-story limit after neighbors cite traffic, privacy concerns

So we do not want any more traffic across the street.” Gina Martin (speaker 7) and Troy Martin (speaker 17) echoed concerns about pickup congestion and privacy for back-yard windows.
Applicant representative Jack Oduro (speaker 15) said the project is intended as a residential senior-living home, not a nursing home, and estimated 3–5 employees and limited visitor traffic. The developer (speaker 18) told the commission: “It's not a nursing home. It's not a big assisted living facility. It's more residential, senior living. It's only for 16 people maximum.” Commissioners agreed to approve the SUD subject to staff conditions and added a condition limiting the structure to one story; the motion passed 5–0.
