Alexis presented the staff report, describing the site as a new restaurant with a building area of roughly 3,725 square feet and serviceable area stated in the packet; staff noted the site is compatible with the Tall City plan and that no objections had been received. Catherine Chamblee, representing the applicant, said the operator expects alcohol to account for "less than 20%" of gross sales and described the establishment as a mixed-concept restaurant rather than a bar. The commission closed the public hearing and voted to approve with standard conditions.
Commissioners approved the SUD with the recommended standard conditions. The approval allows on-premises sale of all alcoholic beverages under the specified hours and standard SUD requirements; the application materials list proposed alcohol service hours and the site plan details.
