The measure was presented as unchanged from its first reading and adopted unanimously after a roll call vote.
Councilmember Riley moved to adopt the ordinance and the motion was seconded by Councilmember Ron Marshall. City Secretary conducted a roll call and the motion carried unanimously. “This is the 2nd reading of the ordinance,” staff said, noting there were no amendments since the first reading.
Council members did not request additional changes during the second reading; staff said the ordinance creates new SUPs for the listed uses and that the council may revisit zoning designations in future amendments. With the passage, the ordinance proceeds under municipal procedures for implementation and any future site-specific SUP applications will follow the public process required under the city’s code.
