The Pleasant Hill City Council on July 27 adopted Bill 26-24 to rezone 402 South 1st Street from Light Industrial (M-1) to General Business (C-1). Planning staff said the application, submitted by Mark Bridal, follows a prior lot split and was recommended for approval by Planning & Zoning.
A staff member explained the purpose of the change: "This is to rezone the property ... to C-1 to reflect what really was going on and to not have to have that conditional use permit." A council member moved to approve the ordinance; the council then recorded a roll-call vote and passed Bill 26-24.
The vote as recorded by roll call listed Councilwomen Niner, Dumer, Patterson and Elliott as voting 'Yes.' The ordinance was adopted; no public comments were recorded during the item.
