"If we can start to consider some of those things within constraints, we have 1.2 in the capital reserve right now," one trustee said.
Administrators said they would revisit project files, obtain assessments of the sections leaking near heating coils, and pursue phased work that could be completed over multiple budget cycles to reduce the impact on the operating budget. They noted prior attempts to secure outside grant support for boilers had fallen through and that money returned to reserves after grant issues were resolved.
