Select Board approves one-day licenses and permits including Sportsman Association event and youth-playground opening

The Select Board approved several routine permits and one-day licenses at its July 27 meeting. The board signed off on a one-day all-alcohol license for the Lee Sportsman Association's annual barbecue (Aug. 22, 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.) and approved a one-day entertainment license for the Lee Youth Commission's Ninja Fit playground grand opening (Aug. 22, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.).
The board also approved a gas-permit installation to allow work in the road at 28 Woodland Road, Lot 7, and granted a temporary reservation of a small area on Railroad Street to hold roofing debris dumpsters while a nearby property replaces a roof (dates adjusted to a one-week window around late July/early August as discussed). All these motions were approved unanimously.
