A health-department representative presented a proposed family planning services contract for McKaylee Kirby and described staffing coverage and credentialing steps. The representative said Kirby would start May 1, 2026, and that the department currently provides one day per week of family planning services and hoped to secure two days per month with the new contract.
Chair moved to approve the county health department's family planning provider contract for "McKaylee Kirby to begin 05/01/2026 through 01/01/2027 at $58 per hour." The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. Staff said they would scan and distribute the signed contract and begin credentialing and electronic-health-record (CURE) setup for the provider.
Commissioners discussed the hourly rate and schedule; the health representative said Kirby could shadow the current provider in April and that state funding for services remained in place.
