A developer presented a preliminary Planned Unit Development concept for the Old City Hall site at Civic Center Drive and McDaniel Street that envisions mixed‑use commercial space and multifamily housing.
Staff described the preliminary plan calling for a mix of retail and commercial establishments, outdoor recreation and daycare, multifamily housing ranging from roughly 100 to 500 units and a minimum of about 27,000 square feet of commercial space. RTC requested a bus turnout and shelter on Civic Center Drive; staff asked the developer to coordinate with RTC for final requirements.
Sergio Comparan, representing Agora Realty, said the multifamily product will be rental, market rate and available as workforce housing with units from about 800 to 1,300 square feet. The commission forwarded the application to City Council for final action with staff conditions.
