Roxbury moves food truck ordinance and signs solar moratorium certification for special town meeting on July 28

The Roxbury Board of Selectmen voted unanimously July 14 to place a food truck ordinance and its certification on the Special Town Meeting warrant for July 28 at 5:00pm. The motion to move the ordinance and sign the certification was made by Selectman Timothy Derouche and seconded by Matthew Patneaude; the board recorded a 3-0 vote.
Separately, the board voted 3-0 to sign the solar moratorium certification. Staff and board members noted that AVCOG (Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments) will provide a Comprehensive Plan contract but will not begin work until the fall because AVCOG is busy with other towns.
