The Richfield Village Cemetery Board received several updates on Fairview Cemetery projects at its June 24 meeting. The columbarium engraving of letters and numbers has been completed, repair work on the entrance brick wall is underway and showing improvement (board members noted the year 1911 hidden in the brickwork), section signs for the cemeteries have been received for installation, and a flagpole with a solar light will be installed at Fairview.
These are operational upgrades rather than new policy decisions; the board did not record bids or contracts in the minutes for these items and did not provide cost figures during the June 24 meeting.
