The Midland Planning Commission approved a reinstatement of a previously approved preliminary plat for Solomon Estates Section 3, replatting 20.56 acres into 36 lots for a private residential subdivision at Alachua Lane.
The planner explained that a zone change to a planned development (PD) had been approved previously and that this item is a reinstatement; the final plat will be presented at a future meeting. "In addition to the plus zone change was requested and was approved," the planner said, noting staff recommended approval subject to conditions. Commissioners asked clarifying questions about whether this was only a reinstatement and confirmed it was not a final plat.
A motion to approve the reinstatement was seconded and passed unanimously. The transcript recorded the change in lot count from 37 to 36 but did not list the staff conditions on the record.
