Committee emphasizes medians, emergency access and private internal roads in West Ridge development

Planner Angelina Betanini said medians and other right‑of‑way improvements are developer responsibilities and that predevelopment notes and the plat include that requirement. Angelina also reported that the fire marshal reviewed the HTO site plan and "had no objection, subject to the 2015 IFC," meaning final fire apparatus access will be verified at civil and building permit review. Developers and Park Hill representatives noted an internal, private access drive is planned to connect across the development; that drive will be built and maintained by the developer and ultimately owned/maintained through a property‑owners association.
