Commission approves West Terminal Addition preliminary plat in ETJ

The Midland Planning Commission unanimously approved a preliminary plat for West Terminal Addition Sections 11, replatting approximately 19.11 acres at 12202 West County Road 100 in the extraterritorial jurisdiction into two lots for commercial development.
Planner Laurie Elliott (presenting) said the property is currently vacant, that groundwater is intended to be the water source and that a GAC (groundwater availability) report had been submitted and met state planning standards. Staff recommended approval subject to the conditions shown.
