Chief Judge Curtis Brown and Recovery Court coordinator Theresa Greenwood reported that the Recovery Court received a state award of a little over $25,000 from the Office of Judicial Administration's specialty‑court funding. "We were awarded over a little over $25,000," Brown told the board, and Greenwood outlined how the funds will be used.
Greenwood said the award will fund a three‑day intensive‑supervision officer training, another year of the Repath app for participant monitoring, incentives for participants, fuel vouchers to help clients get to appointments and a behavior‑therapy group specifically for women. Brown and Greenwood said their application was fully funded and that they will seek additional statewide solicitations next month.
Commissioners congratulated staff and noted Recovery Court graduations as community milestones; no board action beyond acknowledgment was required at the meeting.
