In other business the commission approved continuing-education credits submitted by Commissioner Davis (three classes totaling 20 hours — two 7-hour classes and one 6-hour class) by voice vote. Director Ryan Fisher explained that Davis often brings outside professional training that also counts toward planning commission continuing-education requirements and asked the commission to approve the hours.
Staff announced an educational opportunity on August 12 and encouraged newer commissioners to register; staff also reminded SRC members of an August 5 meeting on gravel roads. The meeting concluded with a voice vote to adjourn. There were no substantial public comments tied to these administrative items.
