Staff updated council on parks work: Community Park will receive a prefab, ADA-compliant restroom building that staff expect to arrive this fall, and design/survey work for Founders Park is being formalized. Ben described the restroom as a dual-restroom prefab with a mechanical chase and some small storage space for park supplies.
The village also discussed the parcel purchased in May that staff currently refer to as Jay Street Park and the community preference to call it "Old School Park." Staff said they are coordinating with the local school on fencing and site planning and have initial quotes for surfacing and court resurfacing work.
