Christina told the board that RJ O'Neil was founded in 1926 by Roy Joseph O'Neil and later led by John and Roy O'Neil Jr., and that the firm has grown into a respected mechanical contractor serving schools, wastewater facilities, municipal buildings and commercial projects across the Fox Valley area. She said Jessica Mindrano joined the company 18 years ago and completed purchase of the business in a transaction begun in 2019 and closed in 2022.
The board and attendees thanked the owners for their service to the community. "Thank you very much," Christina said after the presentation. The recognition was ceremonial; no policy action was associated with the item.
