The commission approved extensions of time for four related special-use permits at the northeast corner of Losi Road and Deer Springs Way, allowing previously approved entitlements to remain active while civil permit reviews and grading work continue. Sheldon Colon, representing the applicant, said grading on the west side is underway and civil approval for the east side is in review; he estimated about a year to complete construction once permits are issued.
Staff recommended approval of the extensions subject to the originally approved conditions. Commissioners noted that multiple comments of support and opposition had been received on earlier hearings but approved the extensions by motion with remote Commissioner Vega recorded as approving.
