A presenter described two upcoming community events the board and residents discussed: a volunteer cleanup (8 a.m.–noon at the school) and a second annual resiliency fair on May 10 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
"The 2nd one is happening on May 10 from 10 till 2 here at the school," the presenter said, outlining plans for a community meal, speakers, and local agricultural vendors such as egg and honey producers. Volunteers at the cleanup will be given gloves and garbage bags and assigned routes.
Board members and visitors discussed logistics including whether the state supplies materials (the presenter said the state provides bags) and encouraged neighbors to participate. Organizers also said they plan to expand the fair this year to include a band and local goods.
Organizers asked producers who want to participate to contact them; the board did not take formal action beyond offering logistical support and suggesting outreach materials be circulated.
