Staff described a first amendment to the 2022 development agreement with Hillwood that would add driveway/curb-cut work on West Main Street (Old Fort Worth Highway) connected to a TSTC dedication and related lane/median improvements. The estimated construction cost is $273,051; staff requested council authorization up to $325,000 to cover contingencies, to be funded from the Series 2020 tax notes.
Council asked whether the funds would come from the previously authorized tax note; staff confirmed they would. Council moved to approve the authorization; the vote passed 6-0.
Staff will proceed with contract negotiations and project coordination consistent with the amended development agreement provisions.
