At the Sept. 4 meeting the Lammersville Joint Unified School District board approved multiple routine items and two formal resolutions.
On a motion by Trustee Pambo and a second by Trustee Clements, the board approved the consent agenda (minutes, contracts under $50,000, personnel ratifications, inter- and intra-district transfer requests, an early-graduation petition, school-sponsored overnight trips, and fundraisers). The motion carried with five ayes and no nos; the student trustee cast a preferential vote in favor.
Trustees also voted to approve hiring employees on the basis of provisional internship permits to staff a multiple-subject classroom; Trustee Pambo moved the measure and Trustee Clements seconded the motion, which passed with five ayes.
The board opened and closed the public hearing required for textbook and instructional-material sufficiency, hearing no public speakers, and then adopted Governing Board Resolution 24-25-06 regarding sufficiency of textbooks and instructional materials (roll-call recorded and 5 ayes). The board likewise adopted Resolution 24-25-07 certifying independent-study compliance for 2024–25 after a staff report; that resolution also passed with five ayes and no nos.
