District facilities chief reports heat-related HVAC calls, pool issues and 200+ civic permit requests

He said watering was scheduled six days a week at most sites and seven days a week at Evelyn Costa, that the pool chemical balance and sand filters caused an alarm and were addressed, and that FIT reports showed schools meeting expectations. Director Dixon said there are currently no grounds or maintenance openings but one custodial vacancy at Altamont, and reported more than 200 civic-permit requests since the application window opened.
