The Board heard an update on the downtown infrastructure project on July 28. According to the minutes, Gabe McPhail reported that contractors installing storm drains have encountered ledge in several locations and that JBI ran into conflicts with water and sewer lines near the Camden National Bank. A temporary water hook-up is in place while crews work through the conflicts.
The minutes say some utility lines will need to cross Main Street, which will require a traffic plan before those crossings proceed. The Board also agreed by consensus to invite Kevin Trainor and Brent Bridges to the next regular meeting to discuss the Vinal Cove Analysis; that scheduling directive was captured in the minutes and noted for follow-up.
